A Study of The Relationship and Difference Between Spiritual Intelligent And Academic Achievement of Secondary School Students

Abstract

This research paper provided the relationship and Difference between Academic Achievements and Spiritual Intelligence of secondary school students studying in Dewas District of Madhya Pradesh. Spiritual Intelligence in student’s life is important factor to find the personal capacity, life meaning, its purpose, critical thinking about important questions, correlation, comparisons, awareness, discipline, control on negative through, concentration and by which improving the  academic performance and set the personal as well as professional goals.


The descriptive survey method was used for the study. The study executed on collected 537 secondary class students data where relationship and Difference measured through Spiritual intelligence scale (SIS) of approved standard questioners by Dr. K.S. Misra.  The Obtained data analyzed quantitatively by using statistical techniques.


Based on evaluation it has been find that, there is positive relationship between Academic Achievements and Spiritual Intelligence as increased of Spirituality given better academic result and there is significant difference observed as Low spiritual intelligence decreased the academic achievement and High spiritual intelligence increase the academic achievement of students.


This research shows that, spiritual intelligence helped to give better academic achievement and incorporation of Spirituality enhancement content/subject/topics in Secondary school curriculum is beneficial for student’s future endeavors as well as psychological well-being.
